Celtics and 76ers make a trade

Due to a stacked Celtics back court, the Celtics decided to trade away the #1 overall pick to the Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers worked out former university of Washington point guard, Markelle Fultz, on Saturday. The 76ers loved what they saw and decided to go fourth with the trade for the #1 overall pick.

The Celtics would receive the #3 pick in this upcoming draft. The 76ers have been seeking their final piece to a puzzle they’ve been trying to solve for year. Now that the 76ers have the #1 overall pick, we can assume that the Markelle Fultz will go to Philly to add to Joel Embid, Ben Simmons, and Robert Covington.

This trade is a reminder to the NBA fans that most great teams start in the draft and molded together to become great. The Golden State Warriors are a product of building through the draft.

Now it is time for the 76ers to add a couple of pieces from free agency pool and become true contenders for the Playoffs.
