The UWF Argos went out on Saturday night and whooped Chowan. I expected the Argos to win, but to dominate like they did, I could not have seen that.

UWF quarterback, Mike Beaudry, played great. He was 11/22 for 149 yards through the air. He started out 4/10, and it looked like it was going to be another rough outing for the UWF offense. Beaudry recovered well after the slow start. He ended the game with 3 touchdowns and only 1 interception.
UWF wide receiver, Ka’Ron Ashley, was the recipient for two of the 3 touchdowns Beaudry threw. Wide out Rodney Coates caught a touchdown pass as well, he’s becoming a favorite target for Beaudry. The returning veteran receiver, Antoine Griffin, played like a true vet. He pulled in a 55-yard deep ball from Beaudry to the Chowan 9. The next play, Ashley scored his 2nd touchdown of the day.
When Chowan turned their focus to the passing game of UWF, the Argos went to the ground game. The Argos rushed for 133-yards and a touchdown on the day. Many backs touched the ball to keep legs fresh throughout the game.
The Argos might have found their play maker on punt return, Quadavis Battle, made a big play when he scored for a 6-yard touchdown.
On defense, the Argos continued to impress. Josh Marshall, UWF DB, scored a defensive touchdown off an interception. The Argos, recorded 60 tackles on the day.
Next week the Argos take on Valdosta State at home.
