December is almost here, so every game that is being played in the NFL means a lot more. As of right now, there are a few teams on the outside looking in when it comes to making the playoffs in their conference. A few teams in the NFL are already playing for the #1 overall pick in the NFL Draft in late April. But the teams I have here could possible hold up the Vince Lombardi Trophy in February.
AFC
- New England Patriots
- Jacksonville Jaguars
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- Kansas City Chiefs
- Tennessee Titans
- Baltimore Ravens
- Los Angeles Chargers
- Buffalo Bills
NFC
- Philadelphia Eagles
- New Orleans Saints
- Minnesota Vikings
- Seattle Seahawks
- Los Angeles Rams
- Carolina Panthers
- Dallas Cowboys
- Detroit Lions
The AFC was a little difficult to set up, because almost every team in the AFC has the same record or are a game behind the 6,7, and 8th seeds.
The Buffalo Bills looked like a team that could possibly make it to the playoffs, but then the benched their QB, Tyrod Taylor, for a 5th-round unproven QB. That unproven QB threw 5 interceptions in the first half of his very first game. He threw 3 in the first quarter against the Chargers.
So as of right now, the NFC looks like the playoff picture is clearing up, while the AFC looks more like a mess than ever before.
