#7 Auburn vs #12 LSU Preview

LSU and Auburn meet again in a bottle of the SEC West.

Last year’s matchup was spectacular with LSU making a roaring come back win over the Tigers.

LSU was down 23-7 until they came back to beat Auburn.

This year both Auburn and LSU have played top-10 teams on natural sites and both came out with the W.

Auburn’s QB, Jarrett Stidham is back to firm, completing 68% of his passes this season. A few of his passes against Washington in Week one looked liked NFL throws if you ask me.

As for LSU, they bring in a new QB into the rivalry. Joe Burrow. The Ohio State transfer has done well so far doing what Ed Orgeron has asked of him, which is to not turn the ball over.

Against Miami, he was 11-24 for 140 yards. Granted many if those yards came against Miami’s backup DB who was forced to play after the ejection of Miami’s starter Bandy.

In this game, LSU will face a stronger and deeper team in Auburn, and with a better QB also.

The Visitor of this game is 2-16 in the Series. LSU won against Miami even tho the Canes had more yards. Youth and lack of Depth and bad QB play by Miami helped LSU get the win against Miami.

I see Auburn winning this one at home 28-17 because of the better QB the tigers will face.
