Morehouse and Tuskegee goes down to the wire.

In Columbus, Georgia, Tuskegee University and Morehouse would meet again to have another instant classic. Both teams come into the game with no losses in conference play. Morehouse has not taken a loss all season. But the biggest adversary for Morehouse has been the Tuskegee Tigers.

Tuskegee has won 20 of the last 24 meetings, but this year is a little different. Morehouse has a stud at quarterback in Michael Sims. Sims finished the game 24 of 32 for 196 yards passing. a completion percentage of 75%.

The game came down to the wire as this game would go into double overtime. Tuskegee QB, Ahmad Deramus, was sacked 5 times in this close game. He also threw one interception in this game.

The difference maker in this game was not the quarterbacks, but the running backs. Morehouse running back, Santo Dunn, rushed for 129 yards and 3 touchdowns. He broke for a 47-yard touchdown earlier in the game to get Morehouse offense going.

Dunn would score the go-ahead touchdown in overtime to win the classic.

At 6-0, the Morehouse Maroon Tigers will go into next week on a high against Albany State. Albany State are on a 3 game win streak and hitting their stride at the middle part of the season. Morehouse will need to sure up a few things before next week.
