An update on Tennessee State football player injured in a football game against Vanderbilt.
A few weeks ago, the Tennessee State football athlete who was injured on the field spoke for the first time since his head injury. He is now in rehab therapy regaining his ability to walk. Making small comments relating the difficulty to football practice. His doctor says he works very hard at therapy.
Christion has been at the rehabilitation facility since October 17th. He has started to talk a little more each day. He told his father that he hopes to return to football one day. With the will and effort he has put in to get where he is, after having emergency brain surgery, returning to the field isn’t too far away.
I’m glad you asked. Please pray for Christion’s full recovery, understanding, comfort and peace as he goes through this journey. He will be better than before. Be blessed!

Christion ate his first real meal over the weekend. Our prayers are still with Christion and his recovery.
