Mike Beaudry help lead the Argos to a National Championship appearance in the second year of the programs existence. The Argos came into this season at #2 in the Division II football rankings, but after Mike went down with an injury and the program took it’s first loss of the season.

Mike was out for a good portion of the season, and in his absents Georgia Bulldog transfer, Sam Vaughn, came in a lead the Argos to 4 straight wins. Sam was a little bit more polished as a player. He had come in right after playing for the Georgia Bulldogs. The same Bulldogs who were one stop away from winning the National Championship over Nick Saban’s Alabama Crimson Tide. So you could only imagine the level of competition Sam was use to practicing against week in and week out.
Mike’s should be a top recruit for any Division II program looking to get a solid quarterback piece. I’ve never seen it done before, but what if Mike transferred up to a Division I program. This would be a huge step up in competition, but it will also be exactly what Mike needs to gain exposure with 2 years of eligibility left.
