Urban Meyer Steps down as Head Coach of Ohio State

As expected, Urban yer has decided to step down from Ohio State. The news should not come as a shock to anyone since the news of some health scares have started to come out about Urban Meyer. Urban signed a family contract before he signed the contract to become Ohio State’s head coach back in 2012, stating that he would watch his health and if his health starts to deteriorate he would step down as the football coach.

Urban has an impressive overall record at 186-32,  82-9 at Ohio State. He accomplished a lot in his career with 3 National Championships; 2 at Florida and 1 at Ohio State.

Urban started his head coaching career at Bowling Green which transitioned to Utah where he lead the Utes to a Fiesta Bowl win in 2004. After he would depart for Sunny Florida to Coach the Gators and Tim Tebow to two National Championships.
