Manny Diaz has been named Miami’s New Head Coach!

Two weeks ago, Miami had lost its best coach in Manny Diaz. Manny had taken the job at Temple to be their new Head Coach, but after Mark Richt decided to retire after a crazy year, Diaz has decided to forgo Temple for Miami.

Diaz is a Miami native who knows the expectations of what it takes to make Miami great. Manny can recruit as well as develop players to be better then when they came to Miami. You can say his use of Sheldrick Redwine as a prime example of him developing talent. Sheldrick was a cornerback under Al Golden but was moved to Safety when Mark Richt took over. Now he is a NFL sleeper as a Safety in the upcoming draft.

This is the best news Miami could have asked for. Clemson had a similar change when Tommy Bowden stepped down to allow Dabo Swinney to take over as the head coach. That changed turned out to be a great one for Clemson. Hopefully Miami can have the same success with Manny Diaz as Clemson has had with Dabo Swinney.
