Clemson Crushes Alabama

I will be the first one to say that I thought Alabama was going to beat Clemson, but that beast at quarterback, Trevor Lawrence, said other wise. Beating Alabama 44-16 in California.

By the end of the 3rd quarter, Lawrence had accumulated 347 yards and 3 touchdowns. He has put the ball on the money on each throw. Clemson dominated, but Clemson will have almost all its skilled players return next year. Clemson had freshman at defensive back, wide receiver, quarterback, and sophomores at running back.

We’ve watched Clemson to start the season, but we were in aww of the plays by Clemson’s players. Justyn Ross was huge for Clemson in the second half. He looked like Julio Jones but in orange and white. Ross was the #1 wide receiver coming out of Alabama in the 2018 recruiting class. Alabama went after the stud receiver, but due to a lot of coaching turnover Alabama has been known for over the years (20 different coaches in the past 5 years) Ross chose Clemson. It is only fitting that former Clemson wide receiver, DeAndre Hopkins, was at the game watching the next generation of Clemson receivers make plays.

Clemsons defense set the tone early with a interception return for a touchdown by sophomore corner AJ Terrell. Alabama’s quarterback, Tua Tagovailua, was picked off twice in this game. Alabama was out played once the game started. Alabama went 0-3 on 4th down; two coming in the redzone.

Clemson looked good, and crushed the Tide easily. Clemson’s entire defensive line came back for this moment to avenge a loss to Alabama last season to Alabama. Alabama got punched in the mouth.
