Miami Offers Louisiana 4-star Quarterback

It is no secret that Miami has been in the headlines all year due to bad QB play. Now that Mark Richt is gone, Miami has been in desperate search of a Quarterback, either by transfer or in the 2019 recruiting class.

As of Wednesday morning, Miami received great news of Ohio State transfer quarterback, Tate Martell, deciding to take his talent to south beach. So it would seem as if Miami’s QB search is over right? Wrong. Miami has extended an offer to the top rated 4-star quarterback left in the 2019 class, Lance LeGendre. He is from Louisiana High School Powerhouse Warren Easton. He lead the Eagles to a State Championship appearance against Karr, the Louisiana High School juggernaut.

LeGendre will. be very busy over the next few weeks with signing day approaching. He is visiting Tennessee this Friday. At 6’2 212lbs, you can see why Miami and other programs are coming after him. LeGendre is a duel threat QB with a big arm. The offense he ran in high school should help him adjust to Miami’s new system that Dan Enos will deploy.

Miami will have to compete against Tennessee and FSU for LeGendre services. 24/7 Sports has LeGendre rated at 231 overall recruit in the 2019 class. He is rated 5 as a duel-threat QB.
