The Jacksonville Jaguars have decided to re-sign Dawuane Smoot.
In 2017, Smoot was drafted in the third round to the Jaguars. Smoot has 17 starts out of 87 games played. He has accounted for 83 tackles, 22.5 sacks, and 4 force fumbles.
In 2022, Smoot had 5 sacks, 1 forced fumble and recover. He managed to record 21 tackles in just 14 games. However, Smoot season will end early as he suffered an Achilles injury against the New York Jets in week 16.
The Jacksonville Jaguars starts training camp on Wednesday, July 26 at 8:45 a.m. The camp is open to the public.
