There’s no secret that Florida State has been rolling on the recruiting trail for the 2024 cycle. The Noles top off a great July with the commitment of 5-Star corner Charles Lester III. Lester, a corner coming out of the Tampa area, stands at 6’1 171 pounds.
Last season, the future Nole recorded 5 interceptions on defense and 4 touchdowns on offense. As a two-way player, it seemed as if Colorado might pull off another great recruit out of Florida.
Coach Deion Sanders has done a great job of luring the top corners to his programs. However, with the rise of Florida State over the last two seasons, there’s no surprise that FSU won out in this battle.
Currently, head coach Mike Norvell has Florida State sitting inside the top-10 nationally in recruiting. The Summer isn’t over yet and there are a few names left on the board that could very well commit to Florida State in the coming weeks.
Four-star offensive tackle Manasse Itete is a name to watch this Saturday. Itete backed off his commitment to the USC Trojans this week. Florida State has been trending for his services.
