Once again, Florida State is in the news for snagging one of the best players in the country. Buford, GA football standout KJ Bolden announced today that Florida State will win his services.
The 5-Star safety is now the highest rated player for Florida State in the 2024 class. This win puts Florida State at #4 in country in recruiting. Bolden said the Florida State was the first program to offer him in high school.
Even so, other schools like Alabama and home state program Georgia put their best efforts forward to sway the top prospect. However, Florida State’s recent rise back into the spotlight made that difficult.
The Noles are expected to be ranked inside the top-10 come the start of the season. Florida State finished 2022 with a 10-win season. Not to mention, Florida State returns most of its talent from last year as well.
Bolden would be a part of a defense that would have another highly rated defensive back Charles Lester III. Lester committed to Florida State on July 28th of this year.
It goes without saying that Florida State is making a strong comeback. Unlike Miami, who made noise before the 2022 season last year, Florida State has proof that coach Mike Norvell system is working.
With that being said, Florida State has a opportunity to put a bow on this year by winning at least 10 games again. Remember, this is all before Florida State jumps to another conference.
