The “chosen one” is what most called LeBron James coming out of high school, but now that name has to change to “Billionaire LeBron.” The 19-year NBA veteran’s net worth has officially reached billionaire status.
The Los Angeles Lakers leader, made $121 million in year over year earnings on and off the court. He has made more than $385 million in salary throughout his career.
Forbes break down of King James earnings is as follows:
- $90 million from Fenway Sports Group. An ownership group that owns Liverpool, Fenway Park, the Boston Red Sox, and most recently the Pittsburgh Penguins.
- $500 million from cash and investments over the years.
- $80 million in real estate and another $30 million in the pizza chain Blaze Pizza where Lebron owns 10% of.
